alright, ok

i am ready for thnxgiving.

i am ready to be done with projects and research and papers.

i am ready for next semester and classes that will be more than just drilling me with theories and proper research techniques.

i am ready for a new start.

i am happy to be back at school. even though i complain a lot, too much. i am very happy to be somewhere with opportunities that i am excited to pursue.

a year ago i just began me new life sans-traveling.

i am very happy to report that things are on track, even better than i had planned back then.
in all my daydreams and journal entries about wanting more and desiring to be in a better place, i could not have imagined how things did turn out.

i have new relationships. i have mended older ones. i have pursued goals and found new ones.
i am growing and am healthier.

even with my mind all crammed with deadlines and projects and stress of school, i am able to think of things more important than weekend plans and upcoming movies to see.

this is a good period of life.

and for anyone who has been reading this for a while, i dont feel afraid anymore.

even though i talked to you on the phone 2 days ago. maybe i owe it to you.

i got a new job
2 of them.
i dont work for electornic voting, funemployment, arcade game repairs or apple anymore.

i am a graduate assistant and instruct a media writing lab and deliver hot baked cookies in down town austin.
i like them both pretty good.

i have been super busy/stressed with school.
i really do like being back. it was hard going from a pretty base existence to teaching and learning and assisting all at once.
"UMHB did not prepare me for this," is what i have said more than a few dozen times the past few months.

i got to go to colorado with kim for halloween. we went all the way to boulder to trick or treat.
i think i might do like CO now- just not the drivers.

and i hate kansas. {vomit}

one week till thanksgiving then two more till winter break. which will be the greatest month of my life. i will sleep and deliver cookies and catch up on movies and play a ton of tetris.

i want a bike for christmas.

ok. thats about it.

i have been downloading a lot of free albums.
its neat. you know. neat.
so. i guess im working at apple now. i like the idea of it.
i just hope it will materialize into something good.
so far. 2007 has been the year of "will materialize into something good".

i have a nice key board. i would like to play it wt a band. will anyone like to be in a band wt me?

mainly anyone cool.

things are changing around here. this summer will be the summer of transition. i will go back to work after a 6.5 month "leave of absence".
i will begin graduate college in september.
new roommates. in my house.
i hope they will shape up nicely.
my time will become much more consumed. sounds sad.
ive watched all the harry potter movies in the past 4 days. i guess so.
no reading the books for this guy.
played a lot of mini golf.
been in the car for a long long time at a time.

i wish i had some free plane tickets. i do miss traveling. anyone want to oblige?

i eat more corny dogs than any other food product.

i liked hot fuzz. year of the dog was good but intense.

ive a good job on the horizon. ive got going back to school on the horizon. ive got stuff on the horizon.

i rearranged my room for the second time in 2007 tonight. i added some new giant wine barrel/shelves. its sort of nautical looking. or trashy. depending on your perspective.
